"The Launch" Spring Microgreen CSA

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a subscription service for customers to receive fresh, local produce directly from farmers. Customers pay for a "share" of the harvest, and since payment is received in advance of the growing season, this helps farmers with crop planning and managing cash flow. 

Every other Wednesday, starting April 2, 2025, we’ll deliver freshly harvested produce to your home or office, typically between 7am-12pm. We’ll offer deliveries for 5 cycles, ending on May 28. Note: we offer a discount for members who choose to pick up their items at the farm, Tacoma Knife Sharpening and Mercantile, or are willing to receive multiple drop-offs at the same location. If you’re out of town, contact us at least a week in advance to gift your CSA delivery to a friend or neighbor. Alternatively, we can donate it a local household in need.

We’ve trialed many types of microgreen and have curated a set of four that offer the most versatility for CSA members:

• Beet microgreens: earthy, rich, sweet

• Purple radish microgreens: bright, spicy, peppery

• Pea microgreens: mild, sweet, savory, fresh

• Sunflower microgreens: grassy, mild, crunchy, sweet

We’ll also throw in new varieties from time to time to get customer feedback.

For this first year, we’re only offering the CSA to those living and working within a 10-mile radius of Tacoma, WA. We hope to offer a wider delivery service in the future and make our produce available at other locations, like farmers’ markets.

Full payments are due in advance to reserve your CSA share. Installments are available at checkout through AfterPay and Klarna.

To pay by check (preferred), please use the discount code CHECK to zero-out your order. Checks must be received within 10 days of the order to secure your share (address will be provided after checkout).

DISCOUNTS

To help streamline our delivery service, we offer a 5% discount if you choose to pick up your CSA share (at the farm or Tacoma Knife Sharpening and Mercantile) or if we can drop off multiple orders at the same location (like for neighbors or office coworkers). Use PICKUP or COMBO during checkout.
